It was kinna; neat, but in all honesty it was for a total of 1.4 miles w/ 1.2 miles electric. Would love to see that on a normal drive. One day in the Escape I made a similar drive and it showed 999.9mpg. Nice but I really wasn't going to take it too seriously.
How about 40 miles in 52 minutes on a hilly curvy mountain road. 53 MPG is respectable for sure.

I routinely get 52-53 mpg on the way to my office the the weather is over 50 out. We had a cold spell here than it warmed up and the confuser said that I had 407 miles to empty, drove 22 miles to the office that went to 417, drove home still 417 drove back again then it had 418!

I love my baby truck!

Now that the temps are coming back up I expect to see 600 miles per tank as the norm for the warm months.
Since i just got my Mav on Saturday, it is all pretty new. When I got home last night, my wife asked if I was still enjoying the truck and I commented that I was and I really enjoyed watching the Miles to Empty gauge go up instead of down. yesterday it read 354 to E on my way to work and 356 to E after my commute home. This morning, it said 4xx miles to empty.

LOL probably because it is by 4-5mpg or more!
If on-screen MPG is off, it's adjustable in Engineering Test Mode, which is accessible using the steering wheel buttons. Do a forum search of thread titles for Engineering Test Mode.

Im well aware of adjust the AFE bias. With only 1600 miles on my 2025 it’s too early to mess with. But currently my lifetime fuel economy on the Mav shows 32.7 but it is only 30.9 hand calculated

this is good. i think the more important issue here is that you get more than half your miles in Electric mode in your daily commute.

to keep track, i have not reset my Trip 1 (or Trip2) and i get more than half of mileage in electric mode....that means my engine has half as many miles on it as the odometer reads.

Whoa, nice. Do you come downhill both ways on the commute? LOL. I got 45mpg downhill today in Phoenix, so I didn't bother to snapshot it. 2k miles on it so far.

yeah i found the hill that Bill Cosby walked up both ways to get to school. just kidding, it all balances out.

11+ mile commute averages between 5+ to 7 miles in electric, and between 40mpg to 60mpg.
same commute going home i only get 3 to 4 miles in electric and average 35mpg.

Currently, i have over 5k miles now and still at half in electric. Also, a test on a different thread showed that the Trip1 and Trip 2 will reset to zeros at 10,000 miles. i am going to have to take a pic every year to keep track. My old Nissan did it right with a separate EV odometer.

I stopped taking too much notice of individual trips and now I just follow average mpg calculations at the pump. Mine are consistently at 34-38 mpg (calculated) which is exactly the test results found by MotorTrend.
The MotorTrend drivers all have extremely heavy feet, and they typically get a lot worse mileage than stated on other vehicles as well. Real drivers typically get 25% better mileage than stated in the Mav.
