I just installed the @Maxzina door sill and rear door edge protectors. With winter coming I need something to protect the paint because we get a lot of salt up here in Canada. I even noticed dirt and rocks building up so this was going to happen anyway. So far I'm really happy with these products. They fit really well and they look really nice too!
I plan on keeping my Maverick for a long time so this will definitely help!

Finally realize a real purpose for that door edge cover; Keep corrosive debris out from under it.

It is a real PITA but I suggest removing the low quality adhesive that comes on any Mabett/Maxzina/etc. stick on trim pieces and replacing it with quality 3M VHB tape. It will adhere better and if you ever want to remove it you will be thankful. If you use the tape it comes with and ever need to remove it you are likely to create more damage removing the random spots of adhesive that decide to break away from the tape then you ever would have with normal use and no "protection".

That's what goo gone is for! I'd rather save on the adhesive unless I need it!
Thanks for the idea though

Suit yourself. I had to remove the passenger inner sill protectors to run a dash cam wire recently. Some spots the tape had already let go, other spots it took goo gone, 91% alcohol a heat gun and several hours to remove from the trim. The inconsistency is a result of low quality adhesive, I believe. From now on nothing but 3M for me.

I got a different brand on amazon their much thicker rubber, my dogs' paws were slipping on the painted area and didn't want to scratch the paint, they were cheap and worked well, they look factory. check out other brands.
