They charged your 12v not your hybrid battery. As stated this is a known and common issue with hybrid Mavericks. Get an AGM battery and you’ll be fine.

The truck periodically uses the 12v battery to check things like looking for key fob and if the fob is moving around near the truck it uses a little more. Not much for any one thing but they add up. If you have Ford pass app it will look for it to talk to. As any battery including AGM sits not totally charged it will become sulfated (lose ability to be recharged fully). Over a period of weeks sulfation becomes harder and more difficult to remove by charging. A brand new AGM will have very little sulfation and most likely none and also have more capacity than the OEM flooded battery. I have two 2022 hybrid mavericks over 2.5 years old with original OEM batteries and have never had them fail to start. One has 32,000+ miles and the other has 2,750 miles, they each get a full week on a noco genius 5 maintainer about every three months. The full week (doesn't have to be continuous but needs several nights with 12v fully charged) is to give the maintainer time for the battery optimization routines to remove sulfation and stratification of electrolyte. I drove the "backup if needed" gray one about 42 miles today since I hadn't started it for 10-12 days. If you do not want to put a maintainer on your 12v battery in any vehicle just plan on replacing battery more frequently than you would if you did. The OEM Ford is a three year battery obtainable if parked 100% charged at least 70% of the time. From posts here seen about a week ago Ford is apparently gearing up to replace the flooded batteries with agm's if needed.

Yes, Just a nest 10,000 miles. Ran fine until he day before. Completely dead. Ford came out and installed a new battery and I had them do all the software updates. Runs like a champ. I also purchased a battery jump unit, just in case if I was out with dead battery. I recharge he unit every two months to make sure I have a fully charged unit. I store it under the back seat.

Should be. I got 3 new batteries put in a new Fusion, under warranty.

Just pull fuse#11 in the passenger footwell fuse box (behind the big blue plastic panel). It will disable the Telematics tracking device and nothing else. It is one of several gremlins that may drain your 12v battery prematurely. And constantly having a not fully charged 12v battery can cause premature battery failure.
