So, my xlt is dead, dead, dead. My trickle charger says the battery is full but try to start it and nothing. No display, no click nothing. So how do I get it out of my driveway so the tow truck can have access?

Jump pack.
Or from another vehicle.
It'll probably start.

Just had another thread same thing.

ETA: Oh wait - that was you on Mon. So you know about it.

The hybrid uses the 12V battery to run the electronics and not to start the truck. It does not need a high current to do that. Unless it blew a fuse, you should be able to start it with the charger still plugged in. Alternatively, it should run using a small battery from a UPS or similar. If it still won't start, you can't tow the Mav from the front and without power you can't get it into neutral tow mode to tow from the rear, so you will need a flatbed hauler as specified in the manual. They just haul it onto the flatbed using the hitch.

Wow! Thanks for your reply but you are talking to a driver, not a hybrid mechanic. If it was a Chevy 350 I would know what to do but with this truck, it is beyond me. If the 12 volt battery is not used to start the truck, what is? Is there another battery? Where? Because of its position in my driveway a tow truck cannot access the front of the truck. Where are the fuses? Sorry to sound so stupid but I am VERY old school and while I really like the truck, it is mostly a mystery to me. UPS battery? I think I am going to have to call Ford roadside and see what they can do. Thanks again for your reply.
