I've got the EGR in matte but they do also have an in-channel smoke version. real Truck drop-down options don't seem to be correctly providing both options at the moment, may be worth an email to them.

Biggest downside with the stick-on deflectors for the maverick is the rear extends past the edge of the window, the in-channel are flush (see attached photo from the Real Truck website).

Up to you if you'd rather have a flush look or not worry about contact with the glass.

Never had these problems with my in channels on any vehicle.

Put some 3M exterior tape (same stuff that comes on the rears) on the front visors to help them stay seated where they should be. Any in channel visors will push up against the small portion at the top of the windows, but not enough to do anything major.

Personally not a fan of the stick on exterior ones. They just look tacky. And smoke is the way to go no matter what you get. I've had the matte ones before on a Tacoma and I was never really fond of them - mainly because it's another portion you can't see through but also because I felt the windows don't need any more matte black around them. First and last time purchasing those.

Do the in-channel visors scratch your tint at the top? I'm curious if it might start to peel after a while.

The inchannel visors gets installed on the outside and pulls towards the outside. Window tint is on the inside of window. They don't collide so no issues.

I have the EGR in channel. No rattling or squeaking. No scratching of my window tint either. Love them... I had the Ford stick on ones and they looked hideous. I have a set for sale if anyone is interested. $50 shipped....

Same for me. Mine are the smoke.

An added bonus to them that I did not expect was that they provide some side sun blocking, like a visor would.

Is the little EGR logo a sticker or baked into the visor?
I'd want to remove that.

Maybe try scraping off with fingernail or goofoff on a q tip. I would put blue tape around the outside of lettering just incase with goof off.
It doesn't bother me so I haven't tried anything.

Reviving this old thread for anyone looking to do this mod.. The prior owner of my Mav installed the EGR matte inchannel visors. They create massive blind spots on the front driver and passenger windows, so I had to remove them. Can hardly see the passenger side rear view mirror they’re so bad.

im sure the smoked version are a little better as they should still be somewhat translucent, however the Matte ones are pure black, can’t see through them whatsoever.

I first ordered the Ford window deflectors, didn't like the fit and looks. Just received the Weathertech window deflectors. They are in channel installed, they fit and look great. I'm glad I waited to get the Weathertech brand. I would recommend them to anyone who wants inchannel deflectors. Oh, they don't block the mirrors !!
