Looks mean. I do gotta ask though why not go with actual new fenders and quarters instead of layered on. Thats a nice thing about the Maverick its pretty easy to peel off the skin and do a complete redesign on it. Unless I am reading the pics wrong. All new panels is like the difference between a body kit and a spec race car body.

Are you planning to keep the decals on the truck? Or go for the color setup you have in the model?

Sharp as heck! The Maverick begs to be customized.

We actually discussed this. I like the layered look, so we went that route.

I am going to have them redone. Going to go a different direction on the hood though.

Right on. Just curious. I on my old 74 I used to dream of doing the 70s bulge weld on to it. Basically the inverse of tubbing the fenders.

Love it !!!!!
can’t wait to see finished color combos ! I’m sure that will be as you go!
see if your wheel guys have a distributor or tire manufacturer that is displaying at Sema . Lots and lots of tire and wheel people there., and lots with even outside display space.

Oh man... this thing F.U.C.K.S. I love it. Can't wait to see the finished product. Definitely interested in how a rear duckbill spoiler would look as well.

I wasn't sure where to post this.

Earlier this year I had my truck scanned and the design is complete. A few things need buttoned up like the fuel door. I wanted to share the rendering I received today. (Note the model is slightly off from actual dimensions, so if you notice oddities, that's why)

This kit will be available for sale after we finish on mine. I am hoping for a September completion date.

I’ve been thinking of trying to make a lip like this. Hope it’s made to work with the standard body of the Maverick too. Looks great tho! Glad someone did something besides the standard round fender flare style

Interesting
Is that intended to be done with glass or sheet metal?

Wide bodied lowered trucks aren’t entirely my thing but these renders are sweet. Love to see what this ends up looking like in real life.
I have wondered if raised mavericks make the CV axle issues worse, would a lowered maverick make them more robust? Beyond that, I just prefer the look of a lowered truck over a lifted one, at least when it comes to mini trucks.
