A little over 90,000 Mavericks were produced in 2022 and about 25,000 C8 Corvettes were produced. I see about as many C8’s around where I live as I do Maverick’s. That tells me that either the Maverick production numbers are questionable or the allocation gods don’t smile down on the Ford dealers here in middle Tennessee. Which do you see more of where you live?

Alternative theory: Middle Tennessee (assume Nashville) is a higher income area that would generally be more interested in Corvettes than Mavericks?

Trusting personal experience over data is dangerous.

Apparently Ford is lying like everyone on this site seems to think.

Climate is a factor as well. Corvette is a summer/warm climate vehicle. There's likely to be a lot more of them further down south near you where people can drive them year round.

First year production. Not many people will see a difference form 2020 corvette to 2022

I also see more C8 Vettes than Mavericks, but that is changing. Keep in mind the Vette has been out a couple of years.

True but if you assume 25k C8’s for 2 years that’s 50k produced. Still more Mav’s produced in one year. Just thought I’d see more of them in the wild.

There's a similar phenomenon in the Houston area where I see way more Santa Cruz than Mavericks. I too am curious if there really are 90,000+ Mavericks out there.

except it’s been out for 3 model years and into the 4th now. So the number would be 75k assuming the same per year. 2020, 2021, 2022, and now they’re on 2023s

not to mention c8s are probably slightly more location dependent (weather, economic) than mavericks.

Just a thought

I have had my Mav since Nov 8th. I have seen only one other. I have seen about 3 C8's. And it's winter.
