Sorry, I think they are white right? But are they reflective?
That's how I did mine, in white. Really pops (old school) against alto blu. This pic must have been taken on a cloudy day. Still, its the way to go.

Did the edges of the set from Ford feel a little jagged to you? I bought the polished stainless steel but I didn't like the quality so I ordered a raised set off Amazon and they turned out good.Went with the Black Platinum from ford. Yes they were pricey, but used my points for the purchase.
Wasn’t going to do this but Amazon Prime sale, $16, I figured I’d see what they looked like. These are cheap but I might replace them with a quality set later. We’ll see how much dirt they collect.

Since I have some Tuffskinz letters inbound I decided to remove the cheap $16 Amazon ones.
These were very thick raised molded plastic. They actually looked pretty good I thought. The A had a molding mark on it though.
The Amazon vendor advertised 3M tape on them.Yeah right.
Managed to pull them off just using my fingers.
At least I got a shot of grey colored tape lettering for our consideration. That color doesn't look bad actually!
Will post the Tuffskins letters when I get them.

that is nice…Had my lettering added this past Saturday and finally got some good pictures of them on a clean tailgate. These obviously aren't from Ford and they fit in to the inset instead of the way Ford's seem to stick out a little. Personally, I like the thinner vinyl rather than the thicker ones from Ford, and these aren't going to cost $99-109.
I think they came out pretty solid and will have to add some to my wife's Cactus Gray hybrid whenever it comes in.
PS- this is about the closest I could find to the Area 51 color currently.

They look great! Is your truck Alto Blue or black? I’m thinking of a dark blue for letters on my A51.
