Maverick stuck in Kansas City rail yard for over a month

Hello,

Anyone else getting the run-around on your truck stuck at at a rail yard? My truck was supposed to be delivered the week of July 3rd, when I inquired it has been in the KC rail yard (ramp 6p) for a week or so (don’t remember exactly) before that. They keep telling me a further and further date,

getting ridiculous…I ordered June 14th last year

Still there, has been there over a month at this point, when it finally gets delivered, it needs the recall done on it, so another week after delivery I am guessing……

Mine still is at the Newark NJ rail yard.. Been sitting there for over a month. June 26th, July 12th, 14th and 17th have been all the dates Ford told me it should arrive at my dealer. I'm going to contact them again today and see what they say this time...

Mines been in transit since April 13. Now “On Hold” at shipping yard 2 hours from dealership because of the hybrid recall.

I’m thinking it can’t really just be the engine fire recall right? The dealer can do the modifications, why the hold? That and waiting on chips? Just chips? Trucker strike? Sick emotional control experiment? I would sign a waiver and pick it up myself if they would let me, and keep part of the delivery fee lol

Someone on a forum has indicated a dead battery will can cause the vehicle to be ignored, due to not starting. Then forgotten.

My Mav. has been sitting at the same rail yard. My truck has been there since June 10. Ford has pushed back the delivery date 4 times. This week I had enough of their B.S. and I called the complaint center and let them have it. My wife also called them, and she did the same thing. I know it will not do any good, but I got a lot off of my chest. I gave this some serious thought and have decided to not call Ford any more I am sick and tired of all of their false promises. My truck was ordered on June 14, 2021 built on May 25, 2022 shipped from Mexico on May 27 2022, arrived in Kansas City June 10 2022 and it is still there.

You order from Schicker in St. Louis? They put my order in the same day, I bet our trucks are line buddies ha ha. But it is ridiculous for Ford to not give us any information on why this is happening. I think they should consider waiving the delivery fee, and maybe find another firm to convoy the trucks out of KC for the future if it is due to them not making deliveries in a timely manner

I hope we finally get our line buddies on the same day. I agree Ford should do something. I should have said that I put my order in at Walton Ford in Savannah Mo. My dealer has been wonderful to work with, but his hands are tied by Ford also.

I never thought of that but waiving the delivery fee or cutting it in half would be a smart thing for them to do. July 21st will be one year since I ordered. Yesterday Ford moved my delivery date for the 5th time to the 21st. I don't believe it.
