Just had a Recall Notice on my 2022 Maverick. 23E07 - PCM module needs software update. Called the dealer and they don't seem to know about it yet. Waiting for them to call me back. I notice there are 3 open Recalls on my truck with "Awaiting Remedy". Anyone heard anything on these from Ford yet?

I had the 23E07 done at the end of September, along with 23E09. both were software updates. I'm still waiting on remedy for the one recall:

I had my 23E09 done on a 22 lariat in September. I expect that Ford is not releasing all vins at same time and most likely each model year requires the same update applied to a different program set along with other updates possibly.
On the plus side the 23E09 seemed to improve operation and my voltage while running shows 15.4 and higher for much longer periods. I have never had deep sleeps but my 12v on accessory shows 12.1-12.4 volts much more frequently so maybe they changed dcdc Converter output to charge 12v a little faster?

For me, my running voltage is around 14.5-14.7 volts. After the engine is turned off, it shows 11.7-11.8 volts. Not sure if there's any adjustment to the charging rate but yeah.

Before 23E09 mine was 14.6-14.8 (my monitor was supposedly accurate to +/- 0.1 volts). If ambient temp was below 60° usually 15.1 v. On rare occasions would see 14-14.1v. AFTER 23E09 and ambient temp below 60° seems to go to 15.4-15.6v. who knows why or what causes it. I like to think something was using electricity and a sensor was not reading it correctly resulting in less than optimal current left to charge 12v. Something we will never know. But 23E09 was to "Reprogram Power Train Control Module", yet another what was actually done? I did not write my run time down before but my elapsed time on screen was almost 1 hour and 30 minutes greater and they had it in rear for about 5hours. I expect waiting on tech and or equipment. ??

I also had these two updates done in early Oct. My dealership came to my house and did the updates, worked out just fine!

I was getting the deep sleep alerts and interior lights not working and took the truck to the dealer. They did some software updates and a TSB but it didn't help. I'm putting up with it until I get the 23E09 recall notice and then take it in to see if that fixes it.

I believe this is the TSB software update that came out a few months ago that addresses the grabby brakes and hybrid shudder. I highly recommend getting it done, the maverick drives much smoother now. It could be something else, but it doesn't sound like it.

I hope it fixes yours. I had battery readings down to 11.8 was all and cabin lights did not come on several times. Never failed to start.and no deep sleep messages but did run truck some at least every third day. had the piggy back (whatever it was called) wiring harness replacement. The first fire holes cut in skid plate. The side curtain air bag Recall, The grabby brake tsb and most recently the 23E09. I believe the second engine fire recall is all that's left to do. The tech on my 23E09 apparently thoroughly checked it out as my car was well heated and AC was on max cool. Either that or the wash bay made a pizza run🤣!
