Check Engine after PCM software update

Last week, I had two recalls addressed by my dealer with software updates. Ten days later... I had an engine light and five different alerts.

Well hope you don’t see any more alerts. I just did both the updates yesterday. I didn’t want to for sure. I never really got an answer to what the PCM update addressed exactly.

Hello there. Can you send over a message with your VIN and the name/location of your local Ford dealer? I would like to look into these error messages on my end.

zero issues after my recall work

Following my incident, everything was back to normal, including hill assist, but cross-traffic alert while in reverse did not work -- until just this week. (after 10 days)

Same with me. Keep us updated. My dealer can't look at mine for 2-3 days and another dealer said they couldn't look at it until the end of July!!

This happened to me on Saturday. I posted about it here. Took it into the dealer this morning and we shall see what they say.

My dealer sent there mobile service to our house in late February to do the software updates and, we have had no problems following the service.

New issue related to the update that was installed that fixed the update that broke mine.
