Maverick in High Speed Chase?

I spotted this on the emergency scanner site Broadcastify for Clinton County NY. Police Dept on 4/1/25. Thought I would share it.

[LE/Vehicle Pursuit] City PD police stolen Ford Maverick high rate of speed chase. 90+ MPH on Rt. 9. Last seen on the Rock Rd. and authorized to use the stinger. Calling off pursuit for now if they see it will re-engage.

No idea how this started or ended but interesting nonetheless.

Ohhhhh - was Fordpass app working and was driver distracted enough to not mess with the settings to cut it off for location?!
