Hello, I took my 23 Mav to the dealer for an oil change. The dealer did an unscheduled, unadvertised, software update. Seemed strange to me seeing since I only have 11,000 miles.

how easily does it fold up? how is it to take off?

You can fold up from either side with one hand. It takes less than a minute to do. It has two hand knobs to release it for removal. It is simple but more difficult to remove because of its weight.

That's good to hear. I'm thinking once I have the truck, could take a year or more haha, that I'll build some sort of holder on my garage wall for the few times a year I'll want it off. Can you fold it up from the front and leave it on the truck, like does it have straps or clips?

You can fold up from the rear and use its straps but it will block the view out the rear window
