just curious why you think that? The Ford Trucks that are made in the US have far poorer reliability ratings than the Maverick…just saying. And also, how much will the increase in labor costs affect the price when they are manufactured here? Not sure it’s enough to force Ford’s hand.
So I saw this thread and decided I’d give it a shot yesterday knowing that my miles to destination were more than what my MTE stated. I posted a couple photos of my guages when the truck indicated 0 miles to empty and again when my car reached home.
I drove 31.6 miles after truck read empty so...
damn, not available anymore!! I addressed this with the service department when I took my truck in for software updates and they acted like it was the first time they’d ever heard that drivers couldn’t auto select eco mode. This little gadget would’ve worked nice!!
like I said, I recognize that trucks are used to haul and pull things from time to time. but it seems to me that a rational person wouldn’t base their buying decision based solely on something they use the product for 5% of the time.
My Toyota Prius has a trailer hitch. Should I have not bought...
But it was true then. They introduced low cost Hybrid Truck that was cheaper than any competitors ICE truck - right? The statement was they won’t be able to produce a lower cost option EV vehicle - fact is they’ve already introduced a lower cost Hybrid when the rest of the world charges...
Offended? Just dumbfounded that you state that a truck didn’t sell for $20k and then state the MSRP was $19,995. And the fact that just two years ago Ford introduced a a small hybrid truck at a price point that was significantly lower than that of ANY competitor small ICE truck is absolutely...
Ok, so now it can’t be done because ford sold a car starting at $21,490 instead of $20,000 - really strong comeback. Forget that every new car sold from every manufacturer has a destination charge. You also forget tax, title, license, EV fees, dealer document fees, dealer add-ons, optional...
just finished a 90 mile drive home. After reading this I decided to count pickup/trailer combinations. I saw 243 total pickup trucks, 12 of them were pulling trailers. That means 95% of the trucks weren’t using their trucks for towing. I realize that trucks are sometimes used to tow things, but...
It seems to me that you joined this page and purchased your EB Model long before there were any recalls so I’m going out on a limb and will say your mind was made up before.
But that’s OK too, the people who drive the hybrid version will still enjoy their drives just as much.
But I’ve got a...
Bought my Maverick two weeks ago after a long search process. Missed the 2022 order deadline, as most people did. Waited too long to pull the trigger on a 2023 and was about to go in to order a 2024 when I decided to do a 300 mile search online to see if I could find something available.
Found...
Just purchased my 2023 Maverick XLT w/luxury Package, Black Appearance Package. I also own a 2013 Toyota Prius Two. The first two trips I took (total of about 200 miles) I averaged 39mpg, mostly Hwy miles, temperatures in the 50's. This past week I put on about 500 miles, temperatures below...
