Maverick Hybrid Dies In desert

UPDATE 5/16/24:

Dealer identified a brand-new recall (24S33) that blames this problem on the fact that "your vehicle recently received an update to the hybrid powertrain control module hpcm software calibration." That "update" was done as part of one of the previous recalls.

Fix described as "REPROGRAMMED PCM SOBDM AND ABS." All is working well now.

It’s sad but this is the reason I will wait as long as I can before having recalls done.

I have a 22 that still hasn't gotten the first recall (the engine fire one) done. Because I refuse to believe punching holes in the undershield and removing the air dams to be the best possible way to prevent a fire. It felt more like a "Swelling on the brain? Let's break out the Dewalt and drill some holes" way of doing things.
