Right now, you open the armrest, it is a simple and deep box, almost useless, want to add one layer to make it a two layer storage place.
I am not looking for the safe box solution, any suggestion, please.
Thanks
Oh, it sounds not rare problems 😔
I got car back yesterday about 6 pm before dealer closed. So far, it is all good, they changed a brake booster, I have not dig into their reports. I checked the battery though, it is now 100% soh, 100% SOC, 12.7v or 14.56v when car is on
update:
Dealer said : they ordered the brake booster, think that is the cause.
I remembered one guy in this forum mentioned his 25 truck had the same issue and fixed after replacing the brake booster, hopefully, mine is the same .
Right now, truck is in dealer's hand. I can only wait.
I believed they did very rigorous battery test last time when they had it for four days, by then, they said it was all good to go. I mentioned if they could put on new battery, they refused and not happy with my request, also said, no...
oh, last month, probably April 17th , then next day, the E-parking malfunction locked me in parking lot after evening shift for more than 1 hour, somehow, managed to disable it, next day, it came back again, tow to dealer, they watched ~ 4 day, gave back me,
I have been driving it happily...
You meant why not go for 25 model? Main reason is the "buttons", I really like physical buttons, I think Toyota is the one that trying to keep as much as physical buttons they can
Second is the price, a little cheaper, especially, power strain is still nearly identical.
For the battery, you guys all sounds right. This morning, I checked my 17 years old fusion, battery is 12.38V, soh 83%, soc 73%, when car turned on, go up to 14.xxV right away.
Apparently for me, something wrong related this 12v flooded battery, but dealer don't say anything about battery, very...
Dealer just update:
Your truck is currently not acting up, however there are some history fault codes that are present. We wrote engineering to determine the next step, and have yet to hear back, may hear back by tomorrow,,,, and still no rental ford car,,,
Well, yes, but this is brand new car, three weeks ago, they did the "fix", by then, I asked, if it was battery, why not change it, dealer was not happy with this question,
Also, I felt like, the battery is new too, why it lose its power so quick, either not charge right during driving, or...
No, not on auto-hold,
Jumping start battery might work, next time I may try it.
Let's see what dealer say this time, just it is still because of low charged battery, the real question is how come battery lose charge so easy, and how come Ford make E-park is so sensitive to battery load...
Thank you, Not put on parking is an option, but not feel right, also sometimes, when it is not flat, not feel safe.
Yes, last time, they used dollies on four wheels to tow, just space is very tight, need a lot of small maneuvers.
This morning, when I was about to drop my daughter to school, the car locked on E-parking malfunction AGAIN, only three weeks from last "fix" in dealer ! I felt angry and frustrated, with my wife and my old daughter all have gone to work, I have to drive a half way fixed old car to manage to...
I just checked, you are right, on driver side, there is nothing, on passenger side, I can see a black faux leather foam baffle (see picture)
I guess if I put foam pad into the driver side gap, it may reduce the "whistle" a lot, but not sure, this is intentional, because, there are DC to DC...
