Credit card, or Toll Road card, or parking pass card.... whatever card. And only the Hybrid comes with the special card slot.

Little late to this thread and not expecting to learn much since I knew what the slot was for ... but then you go and post something I did not know ... that the slot was only in the hybrid. Thank you!

Man oh man........some really far out questions. Doesn't anybody read the manual before posting a question? With that being said, there are some really great answers also. I've been reading the manual and haven't come across the manual gas door emergency switch. I'm probably the dummy that would just pull on it and hope for the best, except now I've read the really smart answer. Seriously, find and read the manual, there is a lot of useful information in it AND a lot of don't do this kind of stuff. So as soon as I get my truck I'll kind of know what all the little thing a ma jigs are for.

so I've searched the PDF form of the manual for, "slot" and "card" and I could not find a reference to this slot. I don't think it's in there or if it is, it's not very easy to find. the OP had a reasonable question.

Dang! I could have forfeited AWD and almost 60 more horses for that special slot?!?! I'm devastated.
