Team,
I'd really like the option of the radio LCD display to show rear view even when driving (or parked, for that matter). The rearview mirror ain't that great.

Is this 'user-possible' thru a menu?
Some sorta switch trickery?
Or via FORSCAN?

Thanks

The old Magic 8 ball said no. Anyone have an old Ouija board to compare answers?

I am going to tag along with this. The dash display where my speedometer and such has changed and I didn’t make the change. I don’t see anything in the menu to return it to the original configuration. The screen shown now is basically a driving coach.

You accidently switched it to that mode. Simply toggle the up down switch on the right side of the steering wheel. You will have several choices, one being showing the tire pressure, one the Eco Coach mode (which I like) and the mode you want (which my wife prefers).

No has done it yet
The key would be to see what signal or switch signal the trans shift module outputs and then create something to emulate that on command .
The only problem with that in effect you would have no screen to see temp changes or do entertainment commands( or at least see them) while the rear camera was on screen!

I believe you can if you totally jailbreak the infotainment OS with FMods, but that's a lot more invasive than just twiddling some flags with FORScan. Although @yds reported it stopped working regardless above 10 mph. That was a while ago so I don't know if it got fixed on the software side or there's some further FORScan changes that could be made.

you can also add or remove screens if you don't like to toggle through screens you don't use. Examples of screens:
EV Coach
Trip 1
Trip 2
Tire pressure
Calm screen (blank)
Braking coach
Current drive

Another option is to just add an additional backup camera and screen. I have one on my travel trailer with a wireless backup camera and a screen that I plug into my 12 volt power so I can see the idiots tailgating me. I use it’s a rear view mirror when towing.
