What are you doing for spare? My truck should be coming next few days. It comes with a full size spare. I am planning to leave one of the steel wheels on and drive it around the block to see if it works well as a spare. Worried it will be too different.

As long as the exterior diameter is the same between the running wheels, and the spare, it should be driven without much issue. Spares are just for temporary use until you can get your original wheel/tire fixed.

The handling will be effected since there's more sidewall with one tire versus the other, but again, this is just for temporary use. Just drive with caution with the mis-matched set on the truck, and you'll be fine.

Jumping in this thread. I got a set of the standard Y-design Mach-e 18" wheels. They look like this. I think the color is going to look nice with the catcus grey. Was looking for something cheap that was an improvement to the steelies, and managed to get these for $800, hardly used with tpms installed.

I have never swapped wheeles before, so not exactly sure what I am doing, but I think I can just take the old ones off and put these on. Planning to do it myself. I've heard the tpms will program itself.

I was a little worried about the sizing and offset but asked around these forums and people said there would be plenty of space. They are 18 inch diameter, width of 7 inch and an offset of 47.5MM. Tires size is 225/60/18.

Only thing I am not sure about are the lugs. I think I an just use the lugs from the steelies.

I too think you will be fine with those wheels with the stock tires. you may want to go with a larger tire (235/60 or even 245/60) when those wear out. That will look better and fill up the wheel well better.
I also bought that exact same set of wheels for my Mav (if it ever gets here) for $250 off of FB Marketplace. Already have new Michelin Defender tires 235 60 18 to go on them. I may have to get some spacers due to the 47.5 mm offset. I will have to test fit when I (hopefully)get the Mav. Please post some photos when you get them mounted. I would love to see them on a Mav. Also, will be interested in seeing what lug nuts you use. Best of Luck!

There are two sets of OEM wheels that came on the Mustang Mach-e that I think would look really cool on my Maverick. I like the 19" wheel design more, but I'm not sure 19" is a large enough diameter for a lowered Maverick to look right.

Here are the 19" Mach-e wheels I'm considering:

The other set I'm considering are the 20" Mach-e GT Wheels. I think the diameter is much more appropriate, and I like the design.

Here's my 2nd concept rendering of my Mav with the GT Wheels:

Anyone have photos of a lowered Maverick with 19's with tires that have a flat sidewall like the Firestone Indy 500's? Or pics of a lowered Maverick on 20's?

Which would you choose?

TIA
I like #2. Lowering it? What happens when you're busting snow drifts or out field driving?

Should be any day now. Truck is pending pick up on it's last leg to the dealer.

I got these nuts off of amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B2FCAMI). I think they should work. Here's what it will look like:

My hybrid xl is due in a few weeks. Lining up a set of these to swap as well.

Looking forward to seeing pictures of yours first!

My math says they should sit 3/8” inward from stock. I doubt that will be noticeable.

Put these on about a month ago... I knew I wanted these Mach-e 20s when I first saw them. Not a fan of the plastic inserts they come with, they look much better without, IMO. All your trucks look badass with their new wheels, so many options with this bolt pattern.

Will take better photos later, had to get them on before dark.

TPMS seems to have programmed automatically, or maybe it's picking up the wheels in the bed?

It will definitely pick up the TPMS in the bed!

I have to disagree with lots of wheel choices. I bought a set of wheels for my maverick. I bought 21" rims. I found like 3 choices in 21" also I considered 22" , and found about 6 choices. I didn't look at 20" . But even the owner at the tire shop said that pattern doesn't have many choices. In my opinion ford should have kept it the most common 5×114.3 more then triple the choices of wheels. This is just my opinion.
