Same basic dash, just different around the center. They look so small! Are 25-6 dashes smaller than 22-24?

where did you get that vinyl wrap? I also hate the port-o-potty look and would like to do something similar to yours. Thanks.I did a high quality vinyl wrap. I was never a fan of CF look, but anything is better than the port-o-potty plastic look.
Yeah that is not right. The one I received is smooth as you would expect. They should send you another one asap and save you the hassle of having to return it.@MABETT - I received mine, however, whomever cut the cover out did an awful job, especially in the front where it is visible. I’ll have to return it.![]()

I would say no. It stays put on dash but not real secure. (You can slide it sideways with a couple fingers.) I do like it though- much better fit than the ones being peddled on Amazon being sold by multiple sellers.does this silicone dash mat hold ontop phones/whatever you put on it, so it doesn't fall off /fall on the ?
floor ?
It took some time, and a lot of patience. I bought the vinyl and adhesion promoter on Amazon.where did you get that vinyl wrap? I also hate the port-o-potty look and would like to do something similar to yours. Thanks.
"They" are conspicuously ignoring the complaints in this thread.Yeah that is not right. The one I received is smooth as you would expect. They should send you another one asap and save you the hassle of having to return it.
Your obviously not in Arizona or other hot, sunny state. The whole dash cover thing is lost on me, I thought of dash covers as something you would buy to cover a damaged cracked dash on an old ass car.

Thanks for this ! If I ever get around to completing this project I’ll post pics Have Diode Dynamic fogs currently sitting in living room and they will be first priorityIt took some time, and a lot of patience. I bought the vinyl and adhesion promoter on Amazon.
CF vinyl - https://a.co/d/0DaGi5H
adhesion promoter - https://a.co/d/5rCwXh0
You definitely need adhesion promoter with the low energy plastic dash.
Greetings Bill,Your obviously not in Arizona ot other hot, sunny state.
Larry, you missed the point perhaps. I am originally from Indiana and I had never really heard of a dash mat. Here, you cant even touch your steering wheel most summer days. Dashes will crack or even deform pretty quickly. Window tint keeps things a bit cooler but not enough to stop the heat damage. A dash mat makes sense even if it looks like ass. Some just throw a towel up there. That looksGreetings Bill,
You are correct, I am not. In Michigan we have a couple Arizona hot days a year maybe.
Would it be effective to use ventilation and ceramic window tint to keep the car cooler and protect the interior?
The idea of a dash mat is protecting a beautiful dash so it doesn’t look like ass by a dash mat that looks like ass is so ehhhhh.
Cheers,
Larry

Thanks for the info, I am surely ignorant of what you’re dealing with. So, besides a towel or mat, any other tips for extreme conditions?… or preferred car care products?Larry, you missed the point perhaps. I happen to think it looks good and further, it reduces glare. Everyone is different. Ventilation to 117 degree outdoors does little.
