lux Package delete

I ordered a 23 maverick hybrid in hot pepper with lux package and co pilot 360. priority 19 .
I am thinking of deleting the lux package and adding a hitch.
Hoping to get my maverick sooner.

I did the same thing on Oct 22,2021 except did not delete LUX on my Aug 27 order, left order open. Dunno if non LUX order with vin will make it but if does and dealer will give Kelly blue trade in I may trade with LUX in on one without. My with LUX maintained it's production lead over the non LUX. Who knows what 23's will wind up but I expect Ford will have a better handle on minimizing constraints in 2023.

Please get the hitch regardless. You won't regret it. Usefully for bike racks, carriers every truck should have one.

Yup. As mentioned countless times on here, $100 for a hitch and 4-pin connector+wiring is a no-brainer. Especially on a truck.

@Rpavel , I'd do it and there are ways to add some of the stuff after Market. Better to have your truck, especially if you are young. Then you can order a MY24 or 25 with new stuff as possible hybrid AWD or sync 4. You can go wild on the second one as you already have a newer vehicle to drive until it comes in.

Lol, it will be built, and it will arrive on time. Maybe not the timeframe they're expecting/hoping but my promise remains the same

I suggest you order exactly what you want. There is no guarantee it will be delivered any sooner. I know you will have buyers remorse if you compromise.

it doesnt matter what you do now. Just sit and wait until Ford sorts out the mess we're in

Unless you are absolutely hurting for a truck, keep it as-is. With the Hybrid, you are going to be waiting anyway. Might as well get what you want.
