Is it really that simple to break lugnuts loose with a simple set of standard vice grips? There is very little leverage. I want to see it done with those torqued at 110 lbs.
Most people have really shit vicegrips though. You'll need a decent quality pair. I've got only one pair that would be worth trying, original Vice Grips brand from before they cheaped out manufacturing. Those have got out broken, very stuck studs out of a head, when it was only maybe 1/8 or so left showing, couldn't get one nut on it secure never mind one and a jam nut.

These are actually on my list to get. I figured it'd be cooler to have those and to act as a deterrent of theft (who has that long of a deep socket on the regular?) Also then not having to fumble around for that one off key lug when needed.
The spikes you see on large trucks are snap on plastic.
AI made of? Im seeing more than 5 lug nuts
Oh, yeah. Not sure if I would actually do it or not. The thought crossed my mind and I generated to pic to get an idea of how it would look.
