Funny enough, I just read this thread yesterday and I was on a 20 minute drive last night and got flashed twice.

It has happened periodically since I've had the truck but seems more lately. I have few hundred pounds of tools and miscellaneous items in the bed under my tonneau cover, but nothing crazy.

how many of you are getting constantly flashed when on low beams? Do I need to get these adjusted or is it just the way it is?
I have a 2024 Lariat and was debating whether to ask the dealer about getting flashed once or twice a week, but now I know it's the design. Still, getting flashed on low beams didn't happen on the first cars I drove (60's, 70's). I think the difference between high and low beam was greater in those first cars of mine than now. Led's also cast more glare in my view, than the filament bulbs we had then. They are a whiter, hotter light perhaps explaining why we are seeing all kinds of ads for glare reduction glasses now. Which I would like to find if there was a brand one people here have tried and liked.

Don't recall getting flashed yet, but haven't done a lot of single carriageway night driving outside of street lights. I am however, constantly turning off auto high beam which likes to re-enable itself and it waits until traffic is maybe 1/4 mile away before dipping, so I guess a lot of people either see me dip manually earlier when I realise high beam is on, or the auto does it when they get nearer.

Anyway, yeah, a bit "oversatisfied" with the low beam illumination, makes the dark too dark for seeing landmarks etc.
