Kind of annoyed by this but I had a bedliner done today and noticed after I got home that they sprayed over these rubber plugs that take 2 seconds to remove.

That would probably bug me as well.

Can you use an exact-o knife to cut around them?

Interesting that they did that, but took care not to plug the threaded holes.

Probably meant no harm. Just the way they think it should be done. Guess you have to be very specific. I would probably remove everything myself before bringing it in.

Until you're ready to use them leave them covered.

Is it possible that if they pulled the plug before spraying then returned after it wouldnt seal properly and it was intentional done this way?

They don't spray over anything that's removable I know that. I've also seen photos of other aftermarket bed liners where the rubber plugs are not sprayed over and I have yet to see an aftermarket bed liner that was sprayed over the plugs other than one where a guy did it himself.

This thread shows a line-x liner with the plugs installed, but not sprayed.

Now I feel sad for OP. . .
It's not a huge deal it's just kind of annoying because I'm detail oriented myself. I can score the liner around the plugs and rip them out and buy new ones for a few bucks.

I am super OCD with my truck but hadn't noticed that with my bedliner. I have the same as you and doesn't bother me one second. As long as it stays the way it is and doesn't peal up, I am good the way it is. I even don't know what to do with does plugs.

Picked mine up today after the dealer had the spray in contracted out to Ziebarts which used Rhino Liner (plus clear coat and interior treatment). They sprayed the plugs except for one that is now missing. I guess I'll have to swing by the dealership tomorrow and see if those are plugs they stock. What did you decide to do about yours @JibbersCrabst?

I'm actually most annoyed my threaded holes got sprayed. Not sure if I'm going to use them in a project or not but nice to have the option. Anybody know what thread they are to try to chase them out possibly?

There was also what looked at first just to be a small smudge on the lower left of the tail gate, but then later I noticed it was part of a bigger run that went down between the tailgate and back of the bed. Luckily, not noticable unless you open the gate and really look. The D rings weren't sprayed but the rest of the tie downs were. Overall, a good enough job but lack of attention to detail it seems.
