Hey Bob, it looks like the bulkhead by the rear window was done on yours. Have you used a tonneau cover or a cap since this? I'm scheduling mine for Line-X and am curious about leaks. It looks like it's closer to the same height as the side plastic bed caps.
I do not have a cover. I'm even debating not getting one as the only time we would travel where one would be handy, we will just take the Explorer instead.

Thanks, wonder if the foam tape for a tonneau cover would stick to that and seal up.

I have a tonneau (BAK X4s) and a Line-X SIBL. (See my "May I present to you..." thread for pictures.) I haven't checked my tonneau carefully for leaks, but the foam gasget strip didn't have any issues sticking to the SIBL coating on the top of the bulkhead right below the rear window. I did ask about LED strips and they said that any quality adhesive strip should adhere to the SIBL.

The big issue I had is I had the DIBL and the tailgate screws for the DIBL do not have a washer like the Mavericks with the spray in and no bedliner. I had Line-X do a SIBL. They left the grommets but did not spray over them. I unscrewed the screw and removed the grommets. The access panel flopped around because you need the screws with the washer to secure it.

I ordered the T20s with washers (W717563DS405B) but I have to leave the grommets until the arrive or the tailgate access panel will flop around like a fish.

I would be contacting the shop that did that. Agreed that it just looks lazy at best. It would be MORE effort to leave things in place and have to try to properly sand around everything, vs. just taking them (rubber plugs etc….). Notice I said “properly.”

Update:
Drove down to the shop. Tech told me he will order a new left bin, right bin, and rubber grommets. Claimed he wants to make things right and apologized. I told him to not just replace them but sand and coat where the grommets covered. He said he will spray another coat. I also asked if he could spray the "L" shaped brackets at the base of the tailgate, like some of you have. The part that the DIBL doesn't cover. He said he will have to talk to his boss because they are told not to do that because it rubs against the bed on F150's. He wasn't sure if it would for the Maverick so he had to ask. Any rubbing issues for you guys who had that area sprayed?

Scheduled to come back to the shop on Tuesday. Fingers crossed everything goes well from here. Thanks for the support guys!

Does anyone know the part numbers for the rubber grommets in the bed? I believe there are two types. Couldn't find it in any threads.

They sprayed all the tie downs that do not move on mine and removed the swivel ones before spraying. To me, spraying the ones that do not move adds an extra layer of protection.

Our dealer had ours done, and very pleased with all of it. But there IS a gap between the bed cubbies which I don't really care about.

My dealer did remove the storage compartments and the plugs. I did need to run a tap to clear the storage rail mounts. I did notice my when they did mine, when they removed the cargo cubbyholes, they hit the back of the taillights and got some spray on the gap between the paint the lights. I had to waste a claybar and my fingernail to get the stuff off my paint edges.

Thanks for the feedback. That's exactly what I thought about the bolts. Had to be an impact driver. You should see the bottom bolts. Basically pancaked the plastic. They look like they have rings around the bolts :(

Going to call them tomorrow and ask for them to replace left and right bins.

If this happens to anyone else here are the part numbers

Right bed bin: Part #: NZ6Z60286A72A
Left LED box bin: NZ6B-16F105-BC

Wish me luck!
If the bed light isn’t working, try swapping the switch and light wiring plugs, I’d bet a beer they reversed them when they re-installed the light/switch. Don’t ask how I know that’s possible 😂

I just got my bed sprayed with Line X spray-in bedliner. They sprayed all the rubber grommets and didn't take them out before spraying. Wasn't sure if this was how they were suppose to do it. Then I looked on the forums and saw other owners didnt have their grommets sprayed. Should I be concerned? Should I bring this to the shops attention? It was line-x of Lanier in georgia. Wow just found out my side led bed lightning doesn't work now. Nothing happens when I push the button.
I am sorry to hear that they did a subpar job on your SIBL. I opted for the factory SIBL due to the risk of having it done afterwards. Some people just don't take pride in their work.

Does anyone know what those rubber grommets are for? I just had our LineX done this week as well and the only part they sprayed over were the grommets, everything else was taken out and put back in perfectly.

Some tonneau covers/bed covers use those holes for drainage.
