Lincoln Version?

How many would be interested in an upscale Lincoln version of the Maverick? Base model would be a loaded Lariot with real leather, 32 way adjustable seating, real wood accents, nice soft touch materials instead of the hard plastics, lots of tech and hi def screens and priced mid 40s.

Bolt something like this on the front clip for good measure and I think they'd have something special

Given the absolute failure of the Lincoln Mark LT don't hold your breath waiting for a Lincoln version of the Maverick. Maybe they'll do a platinum version of the Maverick with real leather and more amenities but I don't even see that happening.

Don’t think Lincoln will do a truck version of the Maverick but it would be interesting.

I could see people swapping Lincoln interior parts into their Maverick. Instead of cheap plastic parts Lincoln might have more soft touch dash boards and door panels etc.

They can’t even get the current models out to us. It would be like, you can have the Lincoln Maverick but you need to delete leather, no sunroof, no spay in bed liner, radio when we get the chips and tonneau cover if we have them.

Nope. The Cadillac Escalade pickup didn't sell well, and it brought down the Chevy Avalanche (since the Escalade EXT was an Avalanche with a front clip). The Lincoln pickup has been done to death already in this thread. The only people who want a truck from a luxury brand are Jeep drivers, and they don't associate the Jeep label with luxury.

If someone wants a luxury pickup, they get a King Ranch Edition, Eddie Bauer Edition or its equivalent. It's all about the tough brand with the luxury trim package.
