Hello All. I am replacing my CV Axels as I got the shimmy while accelerating. I'm at 80,000 miles so out of warranty. Right (Passenger's) side went out and in, easy, no problems. Did it two weeks ago and everything is fine. Noe with the Driver's side I have no idea if I have it in all the way. There is a 1/4-1/2 inch gap between the end of the axel and the transmission. It did click in and it turns just fine while rotating the other tire but when I got everything back together there was a clicking. I honestly can't remember if that gap was there before and I can't find any information or pictures to confirm I if I have it in all the way or not. I've tried everything. Deadblow mallet doesn't move it any and it's in there good. I have no idea. Any help is greatly appreciated.
