LED tail lights Anyone use them yet

If no one else has mentioned it these are the lariat and tremor style replacement tail lights which have the LED outline and the small 3-in LED strip in the center, the rest of the bulbs are halogen just like OEM for break turn in reverse.

If you want LED bulbs for break turn and reverse you'll have to add your own three LED bulbs per side for a total of six. Personally I would use diode dynamics their local here in St Louis and made in house not in China.

The problem is no one makes an LED bulb for the Maverick Lariat that works. They all will at some point hyper flash and then quit working.

Yeah form has some in the works but they've yet to release them. Sometime this year...

Installed the lights, first impressions are great, only downside is the bulb’s used are different.
They look to be 7443 bulbs, I am looking for leds to install in place of the incandescent bulbs.

The fit is the same as the stock lights, time will tell if it was a good purchase, but as of now I love how they look and perform.

Did you use the wiring harness that came with the lights? I have a Lariat, debating these using the lariat's OEM wire harness, or doing the zep treatment with diode dynamic reverse lights.

Yes used the wiring harness that came with the lights
I am thinking of using the stock harness and splicing in the led light
That way I can use the DD led lights I have from the stock lights

Good question to which I have no idea. I'm might assume the 25 Lariats incorporate the same technology used to indicate bulb failure that was done to the earlier Lariats via a recall and which led to the demise of replacing the OEMs with LEDs.

Except I'm not talking bulbs here, I'm talking full tail light replacement with LEDs. More than likely the only replaceable bulbs will be the reverse possibly. Form lighting is supposed to release them later this year, along with their headlights.
