I am still using the switchback bulbs, along with the cargo/brake lights and reverse LEDs. I haven't installed the replacement turn signals that were sent to me because I expect they'll fail again anyway. @LASFIT no longer sells the turn signal bulbs, indicating they've given up on resolving the issue. Regarding other brands, some require adding a resistor, which involves wire tapping and other modifications. If such modifications are necessary, I won't purchase those bulbs either. Diode Dynamics does offer a resistor, but if installation goes beyond simply plugging in the bulbs, I'll continue using the original incandescent factory bulbs. The switchbacks are holding up well, especially since the daytime running light is always on.I bought and installed the LASFIT 3rd brake light LED and the back-up (cargo) lights above the rear window, back in June of 2023. I like the brightness and the color, but one of the two back-up lights (left) started flickering maybe 3 weeks ago, so I swapped between the left and right and reseated them. But, the defective bulb is still flickering (now right).
So, I called LASFIT but they told me that their warranty lasts only 1 year so I should buy new ones. That's it!
I haven't replaced other incandescent bulbs (turn signal, brake lights etc) because none of them have failed so far. I'm quite irritated that of all bulbs, the aftermarket LED bulb failed first. I will not buy from LASFIT again.![]()
