Bummer, I was considering adding Lasfit backup leds but guess I will hold on that. I hate how dim the factory backups are.
The last fits I installed to replace my backup bulbs and the clear cab lights at top of rear window didn’t last but around 6 months. I wasn’t happy, so I installed the Diode Dynamics led bulbs and zero issues on my MY22, awesome quality and company, highly recommend them

Rear LED Brake Lights/Turn signals which are working for me. I have a ‘22 Hot Pepper Red Lariat Maverick and have had the taillight recall done:

Bought 4 Amazon LED bulbs. Zonbeam brand 4257 WT21 / 7W Red LED Rear Turn Signal Brake Tail Light Bulbs. It says for Ford Maverick ‘22-25. CANBUS Error Free (Plug-and Play). No Hyper Flash. 28 watt. 2000 lumens. No additional heat producing resistors needed. The same bulbs fit late model F150 and F250’s.

Two weeks of usage and everything advertised has been accurate (so far).
$100 for 4. Listed 50,000+ hour lifespan (forget about it in a Maverick application). No FORSAN needed. No hyper flash ( 🤞).

These bulbs have built in cooling fans (to prevent overheating). They are quite a bit larger than the OEM, under 80 lumen, halogen bulbs. No issues getting them to fit in my Maverick. I have found them brighter and more importantly, come on slightly quicker than the halogen bulbs, when viewed side by side.

These ones?
Zonbeam 4257

I have a '22 also and switched the tail light bulbs back to the incandescent bulbs before doing the recall. The only issue I had with the Lasfits was the third brake light.. didnt know it was out till I purposely checked. . since it came in a two pack so I just put the other Lasfit one in..
i should check again if it went out.
All the other Lasfit still work -
-front signal (switchbacks)
-tail reverse
-third light reverse and brake*

I also had the LasFit LED bulbs installed in the tail lights fail. Mine were the old style that were extremely bright. One on each side failed about 8 months after I installed them. I noticed about 2 weeks before I was going to move across the country. I didn't have time to mess with warranty replacements so I just reinstalled the OEM bulbs and threw all of the LasFit bulbs away.

Maybe down the road I will try Diode Dynamics.

Yes. That’s the right one. No hyper flash in two weeks of usage on my truck

I will add, that I also tried another LED brand (Underground Lighting website) that looked like those Zonbeam LEDs. They also had a built in cooling fan. Advertised no hyper flash. As soon as I installed them, they hyper flashed Big Time. Sent them back and the folks at the website said “They were having trouble with Maverick brake lights.” 🤷‍♀️

- I also considered the Diode Dynamics LED bulbs that someone mentioned. However, when they told me that it may require a purchase of additional resistors, to prevent hyper flash, I ruled them out, since I didn’t want heat producing resistors in an all plastic enclosure. Also, the Diode Dynamics bulbs were advertised as only 500 lumens - not much more than the OEM halogen bulbs.

HUH ! When I replaced the incandescent bulbs on my '64 Buick....I had to replace all four AND install a LED compatible flasher. LEDs draw less current.
Good to know. So the Mav has incandescent light bulbs?? How archaic !

I like the look of them too but there are zero reviews on Amazon.
:geek: 1st time I’m seeing these. Are they an LED replacement? Or are they like a regular halogen replacement?

They are LED but they replace the entire tail light assembly, not just the bulb. I wouldn't personally buy them until I see a few positive reviews.

I'm on my 3rd pair of lasfit bulbs. Initially I had front turn signal, bed light, and tail lights all go out. They replaced them all. The tail lights went out again. I'm on my 3rd pair and I've noticed that they will go out and stop working, but if I let the car sit for a while, few hours, and come back, they magically work again, until they go out while driving again. Over and over. Time between when the truck turns off and the bulbs working again seems random.
