Lasfit Brake Light Alternatives?

Hey all! I have the old Lasfit brake light bulbs in my 22 Maverick XLT. Just did the recall update on the tail lights and of course, they are now hyper flashing even though they’re working fine. Does anyone have any alternatives to lasfit that work post update that don’t hyper flash since lasfit no longer carries the T3 bulbs? Much appreciated!

My understanding is yes, but I would give them a call just to be sure before ordering.

Diode Dynamics are great products but I believe you will need resistors to keep them from hyperflashing. They sell those as well.

To clarify my response, i have the MY22 lariat. I was and still am happy with the factory lighting. But I did want more brightness in the backup bulbs. Originally ordered the lastfit backup bulbs and bed bulbs just for the 2 clear portions. Great improvement, just what I wanted. Then it was like they had a mind of their own, 1 would quit working, then start working. Next time a different bulb. Called Lastfit, rep was nice and all but they were out of warranty.
Hum, OK, then I found out about diode dynamics, 3 & 8 year warranty on their products, been a happy camper ever since, zero issues.
But I have no experience with brake/turn, etc bulbs since Im happy with factory setup there.

I’m using these DDM LAMPS Got them on Amazon .they have 6 CREE LED in each, also only $33 per pair. I’m still waiting on the recall as my truck is still in the shop waiting on a wire harness. Part is expected to ship in November .(4 months for a repair)

If they need resistors then OP might as well keep their Lasfits and add resistors to them.

Or just use FORScan to turn off bulb outage detection.

Its a free download for a laptop, you have to bu a adapter cord online about 50$ and you basically have a very detailed code reader with some write functions for the maverick and other vehicles.
Its amazing what you can do . Just take your time and screenshot all original settings , or take pics before you change.
Lots of posts on this forum and tons on forscan forums.
Can do everything from change daytime running lights on a xl to remove the double honk on exit when mav is running to eliminate seat belt reminder chimes on seats with boxes on them , etc,etc..

The red ones are on clearance for a very low price, but now on back order: https://www.headlightrevolution.com/4257-gtr-lighting-armor-bulbs-LED.BUL.4257.ARM_2?quantity=1. Also have a two year warranty. They do require a separate resistor or as mentioned, switching off bulb out using Forscan. The ones with the built in resistor get hotter and are likely to fail sooner because of this.

Edit: Although these bulbs are no longer on such a huge sale, installed them and they look very nice and bright. Had to disable rear turn and stop light bulb out using Forscan, since no resistors. Very happy.
