Lariat rear backup lights - are they LED?

Does the Lariat have LED bulbs for backup lamps. Will be removing taillights to install swing toolboxes and would be easy upgrade. Didn't know if rear lamps are LED from factory

They appear to be incandescent bulbs for running, brake, and backup on the Lariat. Only the signature trim/accent lighting is LED. I'll probably upgrade mine to super bright LEDs in the next couple of months. - Just took delivery three weeks ago, and a bed cover and bug/stone shield are my top priorities at this point. Planning a weekend road trip next month for our anniversary, and want the her protected, and a secure place for our luggage & anything we buy.

Just a suggestion on bed cover not many of them are not 100% dry, I have a low profile pallet I built to elevate soft suitcases from bed floor. I have a gator and it does pretty good but still sometimes a little water in floor

Do you have to put load resistors on any of them?

I did the LasFit bulbs all around in mine (reverse, stop, third brake, cargo, front turn, side markers). Those have resistors built in so no hyperflash/warning issues.
And well worth the price.

Lasfits are great. Did all of mine Too. The reverse lights and running/break bulbs are VERY easy to change, just two screws to remove on each taillight assembly.

EXTERIOR BULB SPECIFICATION CHART

Replacement bulbs are specified in the chart below. Headlamp bulbs must be marked with an authorized D.O.T. marking for North America to make sure they have the proper lamp performance, light brightness, light pattern and safe visibility. The correct bulbs will not damage the lamp assembly or void the lamp assembly warranty and will provide quality bulb illumination time.

Did the Lasfits all around also. Well worth it. Took maybe 30 min to install them all.

2nd (3rd?) the Lasfit LED's. The reverse bulbs are the same as the clear bulbs in the CHMSL, so I replaced all 4 of mine......HUGE improvement in bed illumination & reversing at night. The std. bulbs were pretty much worthless for any kind of reverse visibility in dark rural areas. It's a worthwhile change if you are backing up frequently at night, and/or need better bed illumination.
