Sold: Wisconsin Kia-Hyundai ADUP1 Mirror Wiring Harness

Looks like these mirrors are starting to dry up, (most likely being discontinued, as to why they are so cheap).

Don't recall if I mentioned this before, but these are not "Kia" mirrors, they are made by Gentex, as most of the OEM's are that come with these. This is/was an excellent price, but they can be had in any number of OEM vehicles if you want to hit a junkyard, or search on eBay for Gentex for example, or buy new direct or from another OEM even. Some have the compass, some have a reverse feature that undims the mirror when in reverse, some have a backup camera in them, etc. Just don't buy one with a GM Onstar or something like that in it. Otherwise they are pretty universal.

I just had one delivered today (7/27/23) from WWW.KIA.PARTS that I ordered on 7/19/23.

I went to the website today and see that they currently say the part is discontinued, but I have seen that before. I bought one in March, and half the time it was marked as "discontinued" back then. Maybe KIA is confused between the meanings of "out of stock" and "Discontinued".

I'm producing 25 more and then done. Follow this post as to when they are ready (week and a half or so). After that, I'll produce info on how to make yourself. They are a bit time consuming to produce, as to why I won't be making any more. There are other posts from others on the pinouts and such already, you just got to look.

Unfortunately because of so much demand and PM's I can't keep up. It will be first come first serve. I'm sorry I can't fill everyone's order, they are just too time consuming to build and I will be retiring from making them. There are others who have posted building instructions, and I will too with a video hopefully including parts and recommended tools on the build.

I'm truly sorry everyone, I'm doing the best I can. If I had the $2k - $3k to afford the machine that would automate the stripping and crimping, I'd keep doing it indefinatley. Even the official Molex hand crimper for the pins is $1000.
