XLT, velocity blue, hybrid, tow, inverter, sunroof, 24,975.
XLT is 2,300 it was well worth it, wheels, interior, power mirrors, cruise control. The blue pops in the sun. The hybrid gets great mileage, when you put it in sport mode it has way more power than I would have ever thought.

7-3-21. Received 12-31-21

50hwy/50city. Averaging 39-40 mpg with three tanks full.

The most amazing thing about the Maverick is without Ford even advertising and selling at sticker price they have sold out for 2022.
No one knows what a Maverick is, the cop that just gave me a cell phone ticket asked me “what year is this, I have never even heard of it”.

I’m in New Albany, IN, but I spend all
my time in Louisville, KY, so I consider myself a Kentuckian.

Any other Louisville Maverick owners here?
I’m in Louisville. Finally saw another Maverick on Dixie highway a few days ago

I saw one in Nashville yesterday. I had a guy walk up to me in a parking lot today. I think most people aren’t aware of them yet.

Same thing happened to me yesterday at the gas station. Guy walked up and said he knew what they were but had never seen one in person. Did the whole walk around and peak the head inside deal.

It's been turning a lot of heads from my couple days of ownership.
I think i may have crossed your path this morning on Old Third? I pulled out my old "jeep wave". Was just so surprised to see another Maverick I had to do a double take.

Richmond. Ordered from Gates Ford. Hybrid, First edition. Lariat Luxury, spray in, all the delayed stuff. Chose FE because I had hoped they would push those out first, went hybrid because I had a sneaking suspicion around Nov 4, 2020 that gas would be back at 4-5$ a gal before 2024. Knew I had made the correct choice when the army depot here started painting trucks, birds, and tanks forest green and white instead of tan.

Placed my order onJune 10. Had a scheduled build date for Feb 14 from an email on December 9th, on Jan 27 had my production date moved to Feb 28th. I checked my VIN and order number on Feb 25th and it said "in production". Hope I get to drive it before May.

Owensboro KY here. Ordered Hybrid XLT, Cactus Gray, lux package and spray in liner. I love the cactus gray color and after my current car I can’t imagine not having the features in the lux package. Not looking for a big truck but do need a vehicle I can use for projects at home or in the yard. Tired of having to borrow my dad’s huge Tacoma. Ordered early August and haven’t heard from Ford at all. I’ve called the dealership a few times and every time they said, after “looking up the order” that I should be getting a call in a couple weeks. I’ve just resigned to waiting until my time comes.

Hang tight. I’m in South Central KY and ordered a second truck in August and just got the Build Schedule last week. It will happen. 😊

Harrodsburg, KY. We ordered an XLT Lux, AWD, Co-pilot 360, 4K tow, FX4, soft rollup bed cover, sliding rear window, mud flaps, & full size spare, Area 51, from Stuart Powell Ford in Danville 11-26-21. This is to be my wife's truck. When the Ford video guy, Tim, told everyone about the email from Ford mentioning not all MY22 Mavericks being built, I called the Ford customer service 800 number to see if they had any info concerning our Maverick. I got hold of a nice sounding young man in Florida. After looking up our order, he said " I'm sorry, but it looks like your Maverick is not going to be built as a 22 model, because it didn't get scheduled before the order cut-off date January, 27." I said that was the last date they were going to take orders, not the last date they were scheduling builds. He insisted, no that wasn't the case, if we didn't have a scheduled build date and/or a VIN# yet, we would need to put in a new order for a 23 MY, and our original order date would still be in effect. So, my blood pressure went up some. So, I called our sales guy next. A real nice guy who has been with Stuart Powell a long time. I bought a new Miata from him in 2007, and he had been there quite a while then. He couldn't believe it when I told him about the call. I asked him about the Ford email, and of course he hadn't heard about it. He said his sales manager had said something about some 22MY Mavericks were going not going to be built. I asked him about removing the bed cover, and he didn't know if that was a good idea, or not. He said he would talk to the sales manager, and call me right back, which he did in about 10 min. Good salesman. He said we were priority code 10, which is the best a dealer can do. I asked about their allocation, and he said they had allocation when they took my order. I took that to mean they didn't have any now. He said we had 16 Maverick orders ahead of us, and they had delivered 3 or 4 so far. I thought ugh-oh, this doesn't sound too good. So, I talked to my wife about looking for something else. The only other small truck out there at the moment is the Hyundai Santa Cruz. She thought it looked OK, so I looked around the area to see what was available. I found some in Richmond, KY where we had to go anyway on Sunday. Gates Hyundai was closed on Sunday, which is the way I like it. She really liked the Santa Cruz when looking at it in person on a sunny day. Of course, they had a $3500 ADM on the window. So, our Maverick's MSRP was $33050, and the Santa Cruz SEL Premium in sage green she likes would be around $37500 MSRP. The Santa Cruz was a nice looking car though. So I think we will sit on the Maverick order to see if we get a build date this summer. If that doesn't happen, we will buy a Santa Cruz from a dealer that sells them for MSRP. Who knows, if we end up in a recession due to the war in Ukraine and this ever increasing inflation, they might be selling below MSRP like they used to. Man, this post is too long.

Area 51, XLT Hybrid, Lux package
Ordered from Hunt Ford in Franklin KY on Oct 21.
Was committed to ordering a Kia Soul until I saw the Maverick and that stopped that direction. It was a no brainer to me. Hope to see it this summer, but can and will wait till it happens. 3 of the most reliable cars I’ve owned were fords. 2 of them were 1st year models, so I ignore the 1st year curse theory. I hope everyone, especially the summer 2021 orders are filled. Good luck.
