$1,600 for seat covers? I mean I'm glad you're happy but damn! I feel like you could have gotten regular leather seats installed for that. I don't think I've ever spent more than $150 on covers for any vehicle. I expect to pay maybe $200 for the Maverick ones. I hope they work out well!Total for seats and labor was $1599
Auto accessories website offers a tonneau cover for under $300 FYI. I love mine!My plan was to always go the katzkin route eventually. Tonneau cover was a higher priority so katzkin will wait!
The Katzkins are leather seats. They don’t just go over the fabric. The seat is removed and the fabric seat cover is completely removed and turned into a leather seat. The leather they use is better than most leather used by manufacturers. It’s considered a “seat cover” only because they do not provide the seat.$1,600 for seat covers? You had these installed back in May correct? How are they holding up? Care to share a current pic of the driver's seat? The Katzkins are leather seats. They don’t just go over the fabric. Asked and answered..Did you install them or have a shop do them? If a shop, where?
Through my dealers accessory center. It’s not a Ford accessory center but it’s owned by the same owner as my local Ford dealership. It’s called Extreme Auto Design in Muscle Shoals, AL
Ok. Well I guess it could work for some people. I just find that to be an expense that I can avoid. All seat covers I've bought are usually vinyl and go right over what's already there. Always looks great and is comfortable. Here's an example of my seat covers from my last SUV that cost less than $100 for the entire vehicle! The Katzkins are leather seats. The Clazzios I ordered are $600. They are worth every penny. This will be my 4th set in 3 cars (I swapped to a more customized look in my xD). They also work with the heated seats and side impact air bags.$1,600 for seat covers? I mean I'm glad you're happy but damn! Now that I could work with. Would still be the most I ever spent but those look pretty nice. I went to the website and custom built a set up I like, ended up being $700 for me. Wish they had dark blue as an option. Something to consider. The Clazzios I ordered are $600. They are worth every penny. They are currently in production and I hope to see them soon.
I will. Went dark gray outer, light gray inner with dark pink quilted stitching and piping. It's week 12, but I've had quilted stitching in a couple of my cars and it's taken awhile. I'm used to it. The first set I just got plain black and they were in stock so it took 3 days. Now that I could work with. Would still be the most I ever spent but those look pretty nice. If you think of it, please post pics when you get them installed. I made a different thread today about seat covers if you want to post it there. Here's a seat cover build for all the orange enthusiasts

Wow... That's creative. I'm not getting anything that complex. I like the dark gray on light gray, or on black. I think I actually might get the orange stitching to match the AC vents and door handles. I'm removing the orange centerpieces though, that's too much orange. I'll experiment with that quilted look... On the fence right now.I will. Went dark gray outer, light gray inner with dark pink quilted stitching and piping. I am probably going to order XL replacements for the orange. It doesn't go with my theme.Wow... That's creative. I'm not getting anything that complex. Yes and you can add heated seats if you don’t have them already and you may be able to add cooled/ventilated seats. At the time I ordered it wasn’t available yet.Looks nice! Do the heated seats work well through these covers?
