I got the "built" email at 1:33 MST this morning. It predicts delivery between 2/24/22 and 3/2/22.

That's 3-4 weeks after my originally scheduled delivery date, but about two months earlier than the 5/4/22 date I got when I was pushed back for the "chip hold."

So, it appears they are using at least some of the new chips to move trucks out of the holding pen. I'm not sure how much the production dates matter in determining which held trucks get "chipped and shipped" first. But if anyone wants to compare their event dates to mine, here they are:
  • 12/20/21 - first scheduled production week
  • 12/23/21 - In Production - Sent to Plant
  • 1/3/22- revised production week
  • 1/8/22 - scheduled production day
  • 1/8/22 - In Production - Body Shop
  • 1/10/22 - In Production - Trim Line
  • 1/11/22 - In Production - Produced

(BTW, the tracker still says that my truck is "In Production" as of 1/11/22, does not show that it is "Built," and displays an "Estimated Delivery" of 5/4/22.)

Seeing encouraging new helps during the chip hold, with my 1/10 production day. Hopefully I’ll get something soon.

Nice to see some improvement for delivery. Hopefully mine will follow yours.

I just got my "built email" a few minutes ago (02:24 AM). Not sure why I felt compelled to check my mail at this hour. Tracker not updated (est. del. 21-May), but email estimates a March 14 to March 20 delivery.

This is an XLT + XLT Lux pkg. + CP360 pkg.

Ford Maverick January 3rd build week? Built

Looks like even some of the non-Lariats are moving now. While the effects are arguable, I am glad these aren't sitting for six months. Hopefully, many more will get similar messages soon!

Activity on my end all of a sudden. I received an email that my FordPass was activated. I can see the Mav on the map in the app in Hermosillo. That is great because I should be able to see my Mav on the map while it is being shipped. No "built" email yet and the tracker is not responding to my VIN at the moment.

Things seem to be moving pretty quickly for my formerly chip-less truck.

I got an email dated 2/11/22 that it was built, and another today (2/12/22) that it was shipped.

I don't know if that is happening for everyone, but at least it looks like they are getting them on the train as fast as possible (after leaving them in the lot for a month or so).

It is sitting right next to the rail line, so that is good!

When did you order your XLT? I ordered the last day (Jan 27th) not knowing it was the last day...thank God I decided to check it out.
I ordered the EcoBoost XLT with only a trailer hitch added. So I am guessing I don't have any constraints holding me back. However, there are tons of people waiting for their trucks since last year..pretty sad. I am curious though, since they are waiting on chips...would they push the orders out that AREN'T waiting on chips, just to keep the line moving and clear out some orders?? Would make sense.

Same for me....built email on 2/11, shipped email 2/12.
Prior to these emails my tracker was stuck at "in production" since 1/17.
So yes, they must of gotten a shipment of chips.

I ordered 6/24/21. (Most of the relevant dates are in my signature panel if you need more info.)

You're probably near last on the list, but there's a lot of randomness involved so you never know.

Lots of info on chip shortage here.
