My dealership checked the visibility info for mine today and it indicated "hold for microchip".
I’m just so mad about it. Like why couldn’t they just finish off the January builds and ship them out and delay other production. To be this close and then a 3mo delay slapped on, which could be longer knowing Ford, just really hurts. So much that I start looking up Santa Cruz’s today that are currently on local dealer lots lol the MPG is just hard to get over though

🙋🏻‍♂️I’m 952/1169 if that’s what that number actually indicates.

Did you receive anything besides an email saying you’re scheduled for week of 1/3? My tracker has shown in production since either Dec 23rd/24th.
Hey is anybody else noticed the sudden surge for Epson printer adds popping up every time you look at a different thread. I guess we gotta pay for the free information we are getting

Same here, may start searching alternatives out there and if the maverick ever gets here, figuring that out later.

Déjà vu?

Some of you may recall me mentioning that I ordered a Bronco Sport that got "lost in the desert". Specifically, a 2021 Bronco Sport. It was one the "June 2021 builds" that got parked in the desert waiting on chips. The problem is that once chips became available, Ford shipped newly manufactured vehicles first and back-filled the June manufactured vehicles on a slow schedule. Some of these are just arriving at dealerships now.
You can read more about this at the Bronco Sport site: https://www.broncosportforum.com/fo...in-the-mexican-desert.3657/page-10#post-65930

It became apparent that this staging area was worked "last in, first out", meaning the first Bronco Sports parked were some of the last to get completed and shipped.
Since my Maverick was caught early in this latest "desert rot lot" debacle, I can't help but lower my expectations. This is not drama, rather something I've experienced.

I Got an update from my dealer this morning. My Mav has arrived in CA with a ETA to dealership between 2/11 - 2/18.
Must have been one of the last vehicle's out of Mexico with chips!

This is just mind boggling that your Hybrid Lux C360, built 2 weeks later than mine, is being delivered while mine is caught in the chip hold sitting in Mexico. @Ford Motor Company

Agreed. I'm happy for Warhouse, but disappointed in Ford (keeping it PG). I'm not even going to tag their handle because they've been worthless in this entire process. I'm also a hybrid lariat lux 2 weeks prior that somehow got caught in the chip hold.

I wonder if anyone knows how to interpret the 'Module Built-As' website. Like some of the BCE modules listed on my tracker have 1 code, some have 2 codes, while some have 3 codes. I don't know if they're all supposed to have 3 codes listed for each 'address' or if that is normal.

Example:
6F0-02-02 F07D F331 139E
6F0-02-03 C0BB

What's also mind boggling is I was given a build date of (1/24) and ETA (2/15) in early January. The build date actual is 1/31 a week later, w/ETA 2/17. Even thought build was pushed to by 7 days, the delivery date is right on the money, maybe a few days early.

I am excited for you and the reality is, you ordered in June & I ordered in July. You should get yours first! Now, if my Bengals can beat your Rams, we can call it even. WHO DEY!

Posting here as well since these are my fellow 1/03ers. Anyone else getting a revised ETA on their tracker? Mine scaled back to 3/15 today after being pushed out to 5/19. Hoping this is the truth!

Note: I’m yet to receive a “Built” email or built date stamp on the tracker.

EDIT: I guess I never checked my email before making this post…

Ford Maverick January 3rd build week? C63FFA92-05EE-47D8-80DB-474FC462020B

Delivery ETA between March 9, 2022 and March 15, 2022.

Still "in production" as of 1-8-22, no "built" email yet and still showing ETA 5-21-22. XLT Hybrid Lux C360.

Decided to check on my order and got a pleasant surprise. Built as of 2/8 and shipped with an ETA to Las Vegas on 24 Feb. Ford is the king of emotional roller coasters!!!!!

It seems like a lot of us in this particular build period got shunted to the holding lot because of the chip problem. Truck built both before and after this seem to have gone through ok.

Now it appears that at least a few of the trucks in the holding pen are getting "chipped and shipped." That's good news.

I hope that's what's happening. But it's a bit frustrating to see Ford go happily forward with production, leaving many of our 99%-finished trucks just sitting there. (I understand the reasoning, but it's still frustrating.)

I asked Tim Bartz (@fordvideoguy) on Tuesday if he would contact the Brand Manager to see if Ford is making any serious effort to get these trucks finished and shipped. He responded that he would ask, but I'm not hopeful that he will get much of an answer.
