You might want to actually consult your owners manual as most of the more inexpensive vehicles like the Maverick recommend to criss cross the fronts and move the rear tires forward on the same side. The old methods of moving radial tires on the same side changed aBOUT 20 years ago ago. Now if the tires are unidirectional with markings on the sidewall then it is on the same side only.
LOL… yeah yeah …crisscross applesauce. I guarantee you when you take your truck to the dealer they just go front to back on each side. And I did mention the uni-directional in my post.

I need to
This is something good to learn now, instead of on the side of a dark road at 3am in a cold, driving rain. Ask me how I know.
Yup, I need to do a practice run in daylight. Jack up the truck just an inch or two.
Drop my full size spare and check the tire pressure.
Thanks for the reminder.

I always chalk mark my tires before.
You are correct.

So there is no answer to the original question and we have no 'approved' way to raise one corner with a floor jack then place a safety stand under that corner? It seems we must jack one corner high enough to get all wheels on that side off the ground then place a safey stand under the other end's jack pad. Seems the vehicle isn't intended to be safely raised except on a lift. Henry must be spinning in his grave.
