I disabled auto start stop with Forscan using the EZ mode in the PSCM. This worked however I started to notice a weird issue afterwards.
I am at times hearing a faint beep from behind the dash. It is not coming through the speakers, there are no indications on the displays when it happens. It happens mainly at low speeds. I tracked it more today and found it only happens in Normal, Eco, and Tow drive modes. It does not happen in Sport or Slippery mode. I hear the beep when accelerating at around 17mph and again around 20-25mph then after that I don't hear it anymore until I start slowing down. When slowing to a stop I hear the beep once again at 12mph.
Are there more changes that need to be made to eliminate this? I have been reading and searching this forum and a couple of the FB groups and I have yet to see any report of anyone else having this issue. However there are not a lot of solid reports on Forscan mods for 2026 trucks. I've seen in the master spreadsheet for 2022-2025 that there are additional changes that can be made in the IPC and HVAC modules however I am hesitant to make any more changes until I can get some more info.
Any ideas? I haven't made any other changes with Forscan yet.

AWD or FWD?

That slowing down part sounds interesting and familiar - in a what may be a strange way.

Do the beeps go away when you push the disable stop/start button?

If so, you may need to repurpose that button to “stop beep”.

No the button has no affect on the beeps. Also tried HVAC off and radio off. No change. Only thing that stopped it was sport mode or ice/slippery mode. It seems like some module behind the dash is not happy that stop/start has been disabled.

I agree 100% as long as your mods do not affect the safety of your vehicle and thus endanger others. Hey, if you want to take a key and walk down the side of your truck and decorate it with a scratch, go for it. What appears stupid to a vast majority of people may not be stupid.. Sometimes!!!

I'm going to guess, that for most Automotive buyers. For the first 4-7 years the finance company owns the vehicle. You have use of the vehicle.
It's not yours until, you have the title in your hand with your name on it.
That's the part where you should be able to DIY repair what you want.
Whether your DIY will void warranty is another thing?

Decided to revert the PSCM auto start stop back to factory setting until I can find more info on this beeping. While I was in there I looked at the DTC codes and there were two present in the IPMA. Maybe related, maybe not.
