2026 XLT Ecoboost
I disabled auto start stop with Forscan using the EZ mode in the PSCM. This worked however I started to notice a weird issue afterwards.
I am at times hearing a faint beep from behind the dash. It is not coming through the speakers, there are no indications on the displays when it happens. It happens mainly at low speeds. I tracked it more today and found it only happens in Normal, Eco, and Tow drive modes. It does not happen in Sport or Slippery mode. I hear the beep when accelerating at around 17mph and again around 20-25mph then after that I don't hear it anymore until I start slowing down. When slowing to a stop I hear the beep once again at 12mph.
Are there more changes that need to be made to eliminate this? I have been reading and searching this forum and a couple of the FB groups and I have yet to see any report of anyone else having this issue. However there are not a lot of solid reports on Forscan mods for 2026 trucks. I've seen in the master spreadsheet for 2022-2025 that there are additional changes that can be made in the IPC and HVAC modules however I am hesitant to make any more changes until I can get some more info.
Any ideas? I haven't made any other changes with Forscan yet.
