for the VLinker FS, you downloaded the Forscan Lite from forscan org to your android phone?
been also looking at what android app is best available to see -
Torque Pro, AATorque, etc... there are so many.
I exclusively use Forscan since it's Ford specific. Torque etc. are great for pulling diagnostic codes, but that functionality is available in Forscan as well.

Not all the apps can reach the subsystems for specific scan or error codes, more upper level Ford generic.
And I've found they don't all have accurate info about the Maverick to display correct info anyway if the purpose is just to see PID values while driving.
One app I tried option was Ford Hybrid, other only had Ford Escape Hybrid I think, and much of the interesting things I wanted regarding the charging/battery/ect was what was wrong.

I've got Forscan Lite on extra Android phone for use. Wifi enabled for work or home parking - in case I want to email screen pics or log files off it. Plugged in to powerport adapter for charging.
(though due to low battery the up to 60/90 min to leave those powered on after exit has usually dropped to a few minutes now).

The only thing the Forscan Lite is missing are the calculated values - like horsepower.
There is a PID for reference torque, and live tq. And of course rpm of motors and engine.
So HP can be calculated - but Forscan doesn't do it.
Some of the other apps attempt and sort of do, though again I'm betting accuracy isn't correct because I've seen engine HP and motor HP and total HP and unless there is some bad delay, the total isn't matching up very often.

Been having issues trying to install torque pro on my S22+, says that the app isn't "available" (compatible) with my device. any other options for a good OBD2 app?

Besides the others already mentioned in this thread.
Car Scanner ELM OBD2 by OvZ

ETA:
And I already commented on some limitations with it in prior post.

I Used Car Scanner for this when I had a 24 Lariat Hybrid. Just got a 24 FX4 XLT 2.0 EB. Will be looking to see if I can get a Vacuum/Boost gauge, maybe some temperature gauges as time permits.
