Is it worth having Tailgate Assist Strut? Is it worth having Hood Assist Struts from MRT?

You do not have to lose the tie down. The pictures show tie down made and sold by a member here. He was selling them in a pair. Stainless steel, really nice. Not sure if he still makes them. I bought a pair only used 1. Sold the other to a member here who was looking for just one also. Really well built, very happy.

A premium look? Other than yourself, how many people are ever going to watch you open your hood to form that opinion?

If I'm the only one to open my hood or lower my tailgate and those accessories make me happy I'm fine. For me it's all about the details and those two options make me happy!

I've had one other compact and two other full-size pickups in the past.

The two full-size trucks had hood struts and the compact didn't. I didn't care. The struts were convenient but the prop rod was trustworthy.

None of the trucks had tailgate struts. I didn't care.

And the Maverick has the lightest tailgate of all of them, and no strut. I don't care. But I might get a tailgate strut so I can have the feeling of luxury when I open it! And it might prevent a mishap like dropping the tailgate down onto the trailer jack of my utility trailer when it's hooked up to the Maverick.
