If I'm the only one to open my hood or lower my tailgate and those accessories make me happy I'm fine. For me it's all about the details and those two options make me happy!
29888.8 but a quick trip to the beach Saturday will roll it to 30K.
Only issues are a driver door that is always locked when the other three are unlocked. drives me crazy.
And now that stupid back seat child occupant warning that I can't shut off.

I had the textured deflector and that caused hood shake.
Now I have the smooth black one.
Never realized trying to protect the front end of my truck was a sign of getting old.

I have the Lariat AWD and I'm loving it. I'm at 27/28 around town and 31/32 on the road and what's not to like about that. The truck has plenty of room, plenty of power so in my world it's a keeper. I've thought about the Hybrid for my wife but AWD is a must. She likes mine and loves driving it...
I'm loving my Maverick, with the exception of two other issues,
1) I paid $200.00 for 4 lights in the bed and they installed two. They said I needed to deal with Ford. I made it clear, I wrote a check to the dealership for my truck, not Ford Motor Company. They are sending me a check for...
Update 1/9/22
The week of Christmas I took the Maverick to the dealership for resolution on the hood shake issue.
They took it for a test ride, they saw the hood shake bad like I told them it would, they took it to the body shop to adjust the hood. They took it for another ride. No difference...
Does anyone that has fitted the smoked bug deflector experienced hood shake? I ordered the smoke deflector, they installed the textured one with the spoiler. I have hood shake, going to ask them to change to the smoked deflector that doesn't have the spoiler. Don't want to screw up!

Next week I have a meeting at the dealership to discuss the following.
1) I ordered the smoked air deflector, my wife took the Maverick to the dealership to get that and a bunch of other things installed. She came home, they installed the textured deflector not the smoked one. The textured has a...
Anton I'm driving 45 miles to work so it's 90 miles daily round trip. That trip is 98% highway miles on cruise. When the limit is 70, I'm on cruise at 73, when the limit is 65, I'm on cruise at 68. If anything I'm a consistant driver.
The gas is usually Costco or Murphy 87. I do believe I got a...
The Steeda Brace is suppose to stiften up the front end. Does it work, not sure yet?
The pinstriping on the tailgate was done by a local (Charlotte NC) pinstriper. I was worried about it lasting but it's been on for almost two months and a bunch of washing.

The Maverick is almost complete.
Except for whatever you guys deem "must have" except for the rubber bed mat. What the heck, a truck can be built but I can't get a rubber mat for the bed. Anyone else with this issue?

Before anyone ask 26.5 mpg is what I got hauling a 820 lb. Goldwing on an Aluma MC10 motorcycle trailer that weighs 400 lbs for 180 miles. The Maverick on the road gets 30 to 31 mpg with 26 to 27 around town.
1) Concerning the hood shake issue I tried the paper between the hood and the rubber...
I had the hood deflector ordered for my Maverick. Back ordered, I had to wait. I had approx 2300 miles on mine before they installed the deflector. It was installed on a Thursday evening and I drove the few miles hyome.
Friday morning I left for a long trip. I now have hood shake! Never before...
Went out of town this weekend. When I got back the Steeda Brace was on the front porch. Installation took almost 10 minutes. And I'm a measure twice cut once guy!
Does it make a difference? Not sure, give me a few miles.
