Been holding off on the re calls because of the trucks going into limp mode. I’ve been getting a lot of emails and texts from my dealership service dept letting me know that I still haven’t gotten them done and that they Can send a tech over to my house to get them done. Not sure if I should risk getting them done. I know it’s pretty wild that a re call could harm the truck but I really don’t want to go through the whole limp mode issue. I had an ex gf leave me once before over going limp. And I don’t want to feel un safe in my truck either, what say you?

No issues with my recalls. Strangely enough I'm even getting slightly better mileage not sure if it's my granny foot there or not though. Lol

Glad I'm not the only one! Got an oil change pending, so will have to bite the bullet and get the 2 recalls (indicator and break lamps are the 2 pending) done. Cross fingers and hope for no negative behaviors after.

Your doctor and the ford service department can help with the limp mode. No shame in asking for help!

Get the mobile service to do the software updates and insist they connect a battery tender to your truck during the process. Most do. You should be fine.

For your limp problem, take two ED pills. Then call someone other than your ex.

Recalls very safe with tech coming to my home. Called and dealership said 45 days for appt.at dealer, but next day for tech, said they would be here at 7;30, got here at 7:20 had done. Before 7:30. Great and safe service, so glad they have this service. Twice

Just get them done. There are a whole lot of people who like to complain that the sky is falling in very public ways, and need to get a life.

I deferred mine slightly, but I have an ecoboost and I have not seen anyone report issues with ecoboost trucks.

If I were a hybrid owner I would see very little benefit and the potential of a very severe drawback from it, so I'd put it off several more months.

Absolutely get them done. I've had no issues with any of them except with the LasFit T3 rear brake lights. Least of all, you don't want Ford to deny any type of service because you failed to heed a recall.
