Without reading everything don't you need 360 for ACC cause it has lane centering/lane keeping
Yes. The only build that comes with ACC is the Lariat with Luxury Package. The luxury package requires co-pilot 360.

IMHO, safety first!

If it saves you from one accident it has paid for itself and then some. Vehicle accidents are a leading cause of death among people under 50.

The blind spot monitoring on my CX-5 is a little touchy but I now consider it a 'must have' feature on just about any vehicle.

Unless you lived somewhere very rural and didn't see much traffic the CP360 is a must have.

See, I take the view that the best safety is alert driving. I'm not relying on a machine to save me when I get into a bad situation, I just don't put myself in bad situations.

Yes…have never had it on a previous vehicle….but after 2 months of use in the Maverick…would never buy another vehicle without Co-Pilot 360…lane assist by itself is worth the price.

Never had an auto accident but can see Co-Pilot 360 as protection from other "distracted" drivers.

I’m a little confused with people saying that you need 360 to get power mirrors. Is that for xl only? I ordered a lariat, no 360. Will I have power mirrors?

I can't answer that question, but Co-Pilot 360 has already saved my butt. An accident happened in front of my on the high way today and the person driving ahead of me slammed on their brakes and the collision avoidance system kicked in and slowed the truck down. It's well worth it.

I'm the same way -- I never make a mistake of any kind. Also, no one around me on the road ever makes a mistake that affects me. So, like you, I have no need of any of these so-called safety devices.

Sadly, most mere mortals will at some time fall short of the glory of @DryHeat and @mamboman777. They will look on our flawless driving and despair. So it is. So it has always been.

I understand the sarcasm, we are all human and susceptible to errors and mistakes.

That said, there are studies that claim some drivers get dependent upon the technology and develop poor driving skills as a result.

I chuckle at the many claims from acquaintances (with years of driving experience) upon recent acquisition of vehicles with advanced safety tech of it "saving their ass", typically within two weeks of ownership. Heard it at least a dozen times. If that's the case, they must have nine lives and a long string of wrecked vehicles in their history. What did they do before they got the tech?
Newer drivers with less experience I can certainly see the benefit.

I attribute getting to my somewhat advanced age without accident due to being attentive, also riding motorcycles, and even driving a manual (engagement with driving). Speaking of motorcycles, some blind spot systems don't always detect them, so old-fashioned blind spot diligence should be maintained.

I have 360+. The best part for me is the cross-traffic alert when backing out of parking spaces, but I certainly don't rely on it, rather let it augment good driving discipline.

As I age I know my senses, reflexes and agility are dulling, so I welcome the assistance, especially for the price. Coupled with distracted drivers (one of the primary reasons I ride motorcycles less), I would recommend it, although I am wary of exclusive reliance upon it.

Just like many others on here, take the advice and keep the FCP360. It's well worth it. Some think they're so confident they don't need safety aids until they do. It includes:

- Adaptive Cruise Control with stop and go
- Blind-Spot Monitoring
- Land Departure Alert (vibrates steering wheel)
- Lane-Keep Assist
- Forward Collision Warning w/ AEB (Automatic Emergency Braking)

There might be others that I'm missing but it's well worth the wait to have more safety features that you won't want to live without. Also, the more safety features a vehicle has, the less the insurance is gonna be. Something to think about. As a result of mine, I'm paying $60 less a month on insurance thanks to the safety package.
Adaptive Cruise Control is only on the lariat w/ luxury package. You can tell by the square box that says ACC on the bottom of the grille.

Oh, forgive me all mighty @DryHeat I have spoken with arrogance.🙄

In 26 years of driving, I've been in one moving vehicle accident. It wasn't my fault and no amount of copilot 360 cameras or wheel vibrating would have stopped it or made any difference. I'll pass, thank you.

Keep your eyes on the road and off the screen. Watch the vehicles around you and anticipate their actions. Drive the speed limit or slower. Best of luck to you.

That said, if you want or need it, more power to you. I'm not here to yuck your yum and you're not spending my money.

XL is the only trim that doesn’t get power mirror standard. You will have power mirrors.

It is definitely your money and choice, but the argument of - essentially - "It hasn't happened yet, therefore it will not happen" is not a good one.
