Is anyone else surprised by how small the washer fluid reservoir is.

It's accessed by removing the fender/wheel liner. It's hardly a 6-hour job.
Thanks. The dealer did revise that estimate after I posted this question and admitted the mistake. Yesterday I pulled the wheel liner back and removed the chewed hose. I ordered a hose repair kit off Amazon plus the clips that I broke. No surprised ford doesn't sell the small hose section by itself.

The first time I ran out of fluid filled it but light never went out. First oil change they put it out. Now just keep it filled. No biggy and the only problem I ever had so life is good in maverick land.
SAME PROBLEM WITH WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID.

I had the same issue after adding fluid to the reservoir. Light was still on. I noticed that even though the neck of the reservoir was full, there was still room in the main tank. I pulled the truck onto an incline, the neck fluid drained into the main tank and I was able to put another 1/3 of a gallon into the reservoir. Worth a try.
