Problem, I don't think so, yet.
2004 V-6 AWD Escape, Platinum Addition, Woo~Hoooo~Wa, I'm Bad ! As far as I can research this was the only year with a dashboard switch for AWD or 4WD. There was a catch. If ya forgot and went faster than 40 mph ya took out the rotary blade coupler. That part is no longer produced or in Inventory. A junk yard part cannot be tested until fully Installed. So mines a FWD.
230,000 miles and the a/c still blows cold. I'll drive it as a bad weather back up car until I need a Wrecker.
Finally, The Battery. Its a good old Green Intersate two year warranty battery, the cheapest one. I paid $119 and Its 4 years old. I tested it today after sitting ten days.
I had 11.93 VDC. I put a 2 amp charge on it for four hours. After a 30 minute rest I had 12.69 VDC.
Should I start closely watching the Interstate ? or Fagetaboutit.
