Ok so like the title says ( and I would like to apologize to everyone that posted videos ; for judging y'all's Maverick upbringing) now I know just how impossible it is not to do damage to the inside. Does anyone have advice to slow it down . Like armer all but I don't know if it would hurt it ? Or even help

Marine 303 Protectant, and a good heavy microfiber cloth.
If you also have a hair dryer, it can help a little - I heavily scratched the cubby next to the console. A little heat with a hair dryer on low, then wiped down with a little pressure with a micofiber cloth with 303 and the white dings in the plastic didn't disappear, but they are more blue and harder to see now.

I coated mine with 303 automotive 2 times since I got the car and still have a small scuff in the passenger side seat belt area
