I've had a Maverick since mid 2022 and haven't had the scratch problems at all (paint chips another story on th 22 - not so much on the 24)

- except for the door sill from gravel driveway sticking to shoes - I don't put any sliding projectiles on the dash - BUT - I do use these also (below) so it may be a factor - but all kidding aside I know it is an issue and take extra care but I'm sure my day is coming .... Karma and all for speaking of it in jest lol

Can't easily buff out scratches in plastic.
Remove all interior trim panels and store them safely away.
That should fix it.

I just noticed so.e scratches on center tray above shifter. Only have 6k miles and owned my 2025 for 4mos. I'm not rough on my vehicles but now know it's sensitive to scratches.

You’ve got to guide your seatbelt back up to the top otherwise it’ll fly against the door and cause a scratch immediately

From my pictures you can see my fingernails are very short.
I don't have the scratch marks by the interior door panel that you have, but my exterior door handle even with my short nails is scratched up.
I can very easily understand how someone with slightly longer nails could easily scratch the inside of the Maverick's plastics.
I certainly don't see a watch getting in the exterior door handle.

47 years in the plastics machinery field and I can promise you this. Rule 1 all plastic can be scratched. Rule 2 you aren't removing the scratch you are lowering the surrounding area to it or filling it in with a liquid polymer. Not sarcasm, real world knowledge. If you are careless in an F-150 or a Lexus you can scratch the plastic. Now I will admit the quality of the plastic in a Maverick is NOT the same as a Lexus or even a F-150. But high quality costs high dollars.
Well, whatever the case may be, after using this product I can longer see the scratches and the texture does not look any different to me. I didn’t take before and after photos like I should have but I have plenty more scratches to fix and photo. I will report back to this thread and you can decide for yourself.

If you put a protectant of your choice (like 303, armor all, etc…) will help from noticing any scratches (unless very deep). I’ve got over 100k miles on mine and when cleaning it out I always wipe all the plastics dash-door panels with it (I’ve used many different ones) and nobody else notices & I appreciate the shiny products.

Please post the pictures. I am curious to see the results. Were these light scratches or deep?
Very light, made by an accidental contact with my thumb nail while messing with the defrost vents and then made worse with a microfiber and quick cleaner lol. I will take some before and after's of the door kick area and seat belt contacts.

Mine came with door panel and dash scratches from the dealership!

I noticed some of them before driving off the lot but they weren't bad enough that it would have stopped me from buying the truck so I didn't mention them (that and social anxiety). But now that I've had it for a few weeks I've found a few other panels that look like they are coming off and I can't get them to go back in. Had I seen them before leaving I would have mentioned them, so now I need to see what can be done to fix them.

I also just got a tonneau cover from RealTruck that is nice but also has some issues that for $1100 I'm not happy about. I haven't been having much luck buying relatively expensive, supposedly new stuff lately...I think I need to go back to just buying used things with the knowledge that for a lower price it's likely going to have some issues.

Well, rather than belittling your problem with sarcastic answers like the posters above :)....I will offer you an actual solution. This stuff was recommended in another thread, I tried it myself after scratching my upper dash with my fingernail. I only had to use the cleaner and light scratch remover.

https://www.amazon.com/NOVUS-PK1-8OZ-PM-Plastic-Scratch-Remover-Bottles/dp/B0029B518O
By the way, the reviews on this product were 4.3 (out of 5) and review credibility was rated "A". Your helpful solution is much appreciated.
