I drove straight home from the dealer and sprayed the entire interior with spray in bed liner to protect all surfaces. Only problem is I have worn all the flesh off my arm on the arm rest. But still no scratches.
DittoI just noticed so.e scratches on center tray above shifter. Only have 6k miles and owned my 2025 for 4mos. I'm not rough on my vehicles but now know it's sensitive to scratches.
Thank you ,I used this stuff back in the 80's for polishing plexiglass and forgot about it till now. Thank you very much , I will get and try.Well, rather than belittling your problem with sarcastic answers like the posters above....I will offer you an actual solution. This stuff was recommended in another thread, I tried it myself after scratching my upper dash with my fingernail. I only had to use the cleaner and light scratch remover.

I have simichrome, I will check to see if it will work , I am thinking no ,but I will try on small spot. ThanksThanks. It seems to work similar to the old polishing compounds for painted surfaces. Wonder if simichrome would work also.
Thank the MavMiester! He didn't get any love.Thank you ,I used this stuff back in the 80's for polishing plexiglass and forgot about it till now. Thank you very much , I will get and try.
AAAHHH! Now I feel like you're coming after me next!Maybe everyone IS out to get you![]()
Matt,AAAHHH! Now I feel like you're coming after me next!
The other bonuses I got were a fingerprint stain in the headliner (I got it about 90% removed with an enzyme cleaner), an electrical connector (RC type) I found under the passenger side floor mat, a single long hair in the back passenger storage cubby just inside the door (I have short hair, live alone, and haven't had any backseat passengers), and what looks like blue painters tape I found in one of the wheel wells. There's also a nice goober hanging down from the hood in the engine compartment, but that's just a bit of excess foam that they didn't clean up - can't expect perfection for a measly $30k.
I did finally just speak with someone at the dealership I bought it from about 20 minutes ago (we've been playing phone tag for a couple of weeks) about the panels - I told them I wasn't that concerned about the scratches since they're pretty minor and the stain since I was able to mostly clean it. They said repair or replacement of the panels should be covered under warranty, so I just need to take it to the dealership.
Here's the two panels
Novus is good stuff. That said, I haven't found an interior cleaner/protector that has wowed me in years. I've tried Adams (leaning towards them again), Chemical Guys (gone totally down hill), Griot's (just ok). I'm not a fan of protectants that produce fake shine. Not a one for one comparison but a good demonstration:
90 miles, 2024 model built in October 2024.Matt,
Out of curiosity.
How many miles were on your truck when you got it?
Thank you for the info.90 miles, 2024 model built in October 2024.
That's good to know, I just figured since it was a 2024 it had a few extra test drives and maybe some dealer miles from moving it around / fixing recalls. It wasn't such a high number that I was concerned. For what it's worth here in my thoughts.
You had 90 miles on it. More than likely your truck was taken on a pre-delivery quality run through the Hermosillo test facility. If it was, you should have had a sticker that may have been removed by the pre-delivery prep that stated the extra mileage.
Which could account for the hair and the blue tape.
Give me a second and I'll get you a picture. That's good to know, I just figured since it was a 2024 it had a few extra test drives and maybe some dealer miles from moving it around / fixing recalls. It wasn't such a high number that I was concerned.
I just looked and don't see a sticker with that info anywhere (though I only checked the pillars, doors, and glove box) and the dealership didn't say anything about it. I checked the paperwork but nothing there. I also never saw the window sticker, I don't know when they removed it but it was gone before I got there and I forgot to ask about it (not that I need it for anything).
